Intensive Driving Courses and Instructor Training Courses have been a speciality of Kingston Intensive Driving School since 1987. We are a family run school operating from Canterbury, Kent - the Garden of England. Courses are taught in the beautiful landscape of Canterbury, Folkestone and Herne Bay.

Our intensive driving courses are designed to get you up to test standard quickly, with an above average pass rate over many years. We do not play the numbers game as we believe that quality is far more important than quantity. Our Instructors are  qualified in Intensive Driving Tuition to a high standard - many of them taught by a high Grade 6 Instructor with many years' experience.

Your intensive driving course could take place within the ancient and modern city of Canterbury, with all its European-style cafes and bistro bars. Such a great place to visit with some very interesting attractions, such as the “Pilgrims Little Theatre”, telling the story of the pilgrims making their way to Canterbury, and the Marlow Theatre, with its wonderful shows almost every week – a great way to relax.

During an intensive driving course in Folkestone, you may wish to visit Leas Cliff and stroll along the grass slopes, perhaps visit the working harbour and admire the period architecture, or even go shopping in the newly refurbished shopping centre. Folkestone is also home to the Channel Tunnel, with Folkestone Central providing a fast train link to London.

You may wish to have your intensive driving course in the seaside town of Herne Bay, and enjoy a walk along the sea front or maybe the pier. Herne Bay also has a recently refurbished Central Bandstand and of course many old and beautiful buildings, including Reculver Towers and Herne Mill.

Each of these towns are interesting in their own way and if you do plan to have your intensive driving course in Herne Bay or Folkestone, Canterbury is only a short bus/train ride away. In Canterbury, you can shop till you drop, walk along the cobbled side streets, or visit the wonderful Canterbury Cathedral, home of the Church of England.

To book a course with Kingston Intensive Driving School all you have to do is fill in the online form with your details - and pay your deposit by Paypal - or simply e-mail us or phone us for available dates.  We do all the leg work in booking your test and accommodation (if required). We take less than ten pupils a week as we like to give all our pupils that personal touch. All training is on a one-to-one basis and we follow the recommended guidelines as laid down by the Driving Standard Agency.
