WHAT IS AN INTENSIVE COURSE?
It eliminates the frustrating
hour-long weekly lesson that seems to go on forever. With the introduction
of the new longer test, weekly lessons will now take even longer
to get to test standard.
WHY IS IT SO EFFECTIVE?
It overcomes the problems associated
with weekly lessons, namely re-teaching. On average it will take
you 15 minutes to get back to where you left off the previous week.
Instructors can arrive 5 minutes late and finish 5 minutes early!
Before you know it your lesson is over!
HOW LONG WILL I NEED?
We offer courses to suit all
driving abilities and ages. You already should have a good idea
of your learning ability, however, we work on an hour and fiteen
minutes for every year of your life. Remember, driving becomes more
difficult as you get older, and you may need more time.
HOW ARE YOUR COURSES STRUCTURED?
We structure our courses to get
the best performance together with rapid improvement from our pupils.
There are no short cuts. All tuition is "One to One" and
the full course syllabus as laid down by the Driving Standards Agency
is followed to the letter.

WHAT ABOUT THE THEORY TEST?
You must pass the Theory and Hazard Perception
Tests before you can take the practical test. A self study booklet/CD
Rom can be purchased from any major book retailer. To book the Theory
Test by phone call 0300 200 11 22, the fee is £30.00.
Study hard - as there are over 40,000 failures
each year. The tests are computer based and results will be given
at the end.
Please give yourself enough time to take and
pass the Theory Test before booking your course with us.
WHAT ABOUT THE PRACTICAL TEST?
The test is conducted by an examiner from the
Driving Standards Agency on the last day of your course, provided
that you reach the required standard. We are not responsible if
the DSA cancels your test before or during your course. Please ignore
all the horror stories about examiners, they are highly skilled
in their job and their approach is friendly and very professional.
We put all pupils through a mock test the day before the real one
as this will give you a good idea of what to expect with the examiner.
Nervous pupils may have several mock tests.
WHAT IF I FAIL?
If you are unlucky and fail your test you must
wait ten working days before you can retake it (Saturday is counted
as a working day). You may be ready with just a few hours further
tuition.
WHO ARRANGES THE TEST?
In short, we do. All you need to do is fill in
the application form with your details and send it with a deposit
of £100. We also take bookings by fax, phone or e-mail. You
are asked for three start dates, and we will try to get you the
dates you want.
WHAT ABOUT ACCOMMODATION?
Should you require accommodation we will book
it for you. You could be staying in a nice guest house near the
centre of Canterbury, Herne Bay or Folkestone. It will depend where
we book your test. The cost is from £20 per night for B&B.
JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
These will be sent to you prior to your course,
as soon as we receive your deposit.
DO YOU DO COURSES FOR AUTOMATICS?
Yes, they run on the same lines, but we charge an extra £1 per hour. This is because automatics use more petrol than manuals and are more expensive to purchase initially. Your course may however be shorter, since on average it takes less time to reach test standard.
